Police Request Public’s Help in Locating Hit and Run Suspect

Portland Police are asking for the public's help in locating Elisha Rae Hanson, 28, in connection with a hit and run incident that occurred on July 22 in a Taco Bell Parking lot. Hanson is described as a white female 5 ft. 9 inches tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. 

Detectives are also asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle Hanson was driving at the time of the incident: a dark-colored 2012 or 2013 Chevrolet Equinox with yellow Oregon Disable Veteran license plates. 

On Wednesday July 22 police responded to the report of a hit and run in the Taco Bell parking lot located at Southeast 126th Avenue and Division Street. Officers and medics arrived and located Kevin McNerney, 48, suffering from traumatic injuries. McNerney remains in critical condition at a Portland hospital, according to police. 

Investigators believe that McNerny was involved in an altercation with Hanson who struck him with the vehicle while leaving the parking lot. 

Police ask that anyone who sees Hanson or the vehicle call 9-1-1 and provide detailed information.
