Police Seek Van of Murdered Woman, 70

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a van that belonged to a 70-year-old Gresham woman found murdered on Saturday.

Deanna L Strivahtis, 70, was found dead in her Gresham mobile home in the 2900 block of Northeast Division Street on Oct. 11.

Strivahtis’ relatives had come to check on her Saturday morning and found her dead in the house. They called police, who determined Strivahtis’ had been murdered, according to police statements.

Police were looking a dark green 1989 Dodge Caravan with Oregon license plate WQS 804. The vehicle belonged to Strivahtis, police said.

Anyone with information about the van was asked to call the Gresham Police Tips Line at 503.618.2719.
