Local choreographer Tahni Holt presents her latest work 'Duet Love,' a dance about love, lust, and gender at Portland's Time Based Art (TBA) festival, starting today, Saturday, September 13.

Holt and a Pacific Northwest artistic team derive inspiration for the choreography from iconic, old pictures of couples. The dance is supposed to portray ideas of masculinity and femininity through movement.  The dancers will perform gendered states in relation to the romantic premise of the 'duet,' according to the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA).

The dance is performed by Ezra Dickinson, Keyon Gaskin, Allie Hankins, and Lucy Yim. Music is composed by Luke Wyland with special guest Corrina Repp. Dramaturgy is done by Robert Tyree, and lighting design by Jeff Forbes. Costumes are designed by Jayme Hansen and Kate Fenker. Artistic advise by Chris Larson.

The performances are held at the Imago Theater, 17 SE 8th Ave. Portland, September 13- September 16 at 6:30 pm.

Tickets cost $20 and $16 for PICA members.
