Portland denim fashion label Karl vonBuck, will release their new spring line with a private shopping party at Adorn

The spring 2015 collection exemplifies a light hearted spirit of sunnier days and the quiet anticipation of summer adventure. Expect vibrant floral prints with the edge of classic denim accents, as well  lightweight romantic sheers.

Designer Barbara Seipp and model/designer Kate Troedsson are the masterminds behind Karl vonBuck, founded in late 2014. The brand is defined as a way of life, an adrenaline rush that makes one escape normality while wearing a righteous article of clothing. It’s for the women who seeks passion, adventure, and maximizes every moment in life.

The brand is “denim based at heart,” and features everyday and versatile pieces. Hand dyed denim dresses, dark wash moto pants, and plaid coats, have a strong Pacific Northwest attitude as well as a preppy/punk vibe.

The launch party will include a instagram photo contest, gift giveaways and of course some yummy treats and drinks.

Sheer

“We’ve seen sheer cutouts in prior seasons but this Spring I suspect we’ll see more full body sheer ensembles,” says Brittany Sierra. “From sheer tops to sheer pants and playsuits, this spring is the season of transparency.”

“Celebrate the beauty of your whole body  -- show, show, show. Don't hold back on wearing sheer or fitted dresses,” says Tito Chowdhury. “Before you know it, it will be out of style --so do it this season.”

Denim x Denim

“My top pick for the ladies, is the boyfriend cut. These are NOT your boyfriend's jeans,” says Jennifer D Harris. “They are made to be sleek, chic, and approachable. They are absolutely NOT sloppy.”

“We will definitely see a lot of denim this spring but I suspect people will switch it up a bit by pairing denim with denim, and denim embellished with lace and jewels,” says Sierra.

Boxy Silhouettes

“I think that the more structured and boxy-look is very much present this spring,” says fashion designer Kate Miles. She has also noticed "clean and simple lines that are more embellished by jewelry and hair than the garment itself."

Monochromatic White

Sierra’s favorite trend this spring is a head to toe white ensemble.

“White looks great on all skin tones and gives off a fresh and classy vibe. This minimalist monochromatic look makes for a chic and “upscale” feel,” says Sierra.

“Layer gender neutral bracelets to give any outfit a trendy look,” says the Pecoraros.

“The days of chunky are over. Smaller is better. For fingers, necks, ears, and wrists, think delicate jewelry, THINK SMALL,” says Harris.
