Polyvore names Portland’s Shopping Trend of 2014: 90’s Nostalgia

With over 20 million people using the shopping site every month, the most frequent users are 20-something women who know about current trends and popular culture references.
Polyvore allows members to create looks (aka “sets”) inspired by celebrity or blogger street style, discover the latest fashion trends, and shop a curated lists of fashion brands in one place.
Polyvore nicknamed Portland’s shopping trend of 2014 "90's nostalgia" with the top three searched items being sequin tops, holographic shoes, and flower crowns.
Stumptown surprisingly had similar search trends as The City of Angels, who was nicknamed "90's Glam" by Polyvore. Flower crowns, ear-cuff jewelry, and creeper shoes made up the top three searched trends for L.A members.
The Emerald city was named "Grunge Meets Classic" with the the top three searched items being coral heels, the ever popular flannel shirts, and crop tops which were favored by the whole Polyvore community.
