Alpha Media named Larry Bastida as its new Executive Vice President of Western Region.
On Monday, July 8th, Alpha Media named Larry Bastida as its new Executive Vice President of Western Region.
Bastida previously worked in Oklahoma City as the VP/Market Manger of seven stations. Under his leadership, Bastida’s group of stations won two prestigious awards: “Citadel Market of the Year” in 2000 and “Cumulus Media’s President’s Cup” in 2012. Bastida also served as the Regional Manager for Citadel stations in Arkansas and Illinois.
Alpha Media has displayed an incredible amount of enthusiasm for Bastida’s offer acceptance.
“Larry is a proven leader I am more than confident will excel in running the Western division for us. He solidly and successfully oversaw Citadel markets for us in the past and I’m thrilled to have him join us now,” said Bob Proffitt, the president and CEO of Alpha Media.
Bastida is equally excited to join Alpha Media’s Western Region and will be overseeing the following markets: Amarillo, Lubbock, Palm Springs, Peoria, Salina, San Antonio, and Topeka.
“Being a part of a rapidly growing media company, that strongly believes in local content, advertiser satisfaction, radio creative, and reaching-out to recruit and maintain those radio professionals committed to customer results; nothing better shouts 'wheelhouse,' than that to me,” said Bastida.
