EcoCab is an all-electric taxicab company that officially launches this week in Portland.

On Wednesday, July 22nd,
City Commissioner Novick took his very first ride with Portland’s newest taxi service,
EcoCab. Novick’s first ride took off from Portland City Hall at 9:15am.
EcoCab is an all-electric taxicab company owned by Ron Knori.
The company offers an inventory of 100% electric vehicles that include Nissan’s Leaf model and Tesla’s Model S, both cars are some of the best-selling and highest rated electric vehicles in the country.
EcoCab offers consumers the opportunity to be eco-friendly while also acquiring “on-demand” service through their reservation app.
“We’re proud to be licensed to provide taxi service in Portland and play by all the City’s rules. EcoCab exists to support Portland’s Values: to minimize the carbon footprint of the taxi industry and to maximize customer convenience with enthusiastic taxicab employees who are paid a fair hourly wage and fair benefits,” said Ron Knori.
