Georgia Governor Vetoes Legislation Allowing Religious Exemptions

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal vetoed a religious exemptions bill that wold have allowed clergy and businesses to refuse to perform services based on their religious opposition to same sex marriage.

The bill had drawn widespread criticism from major organizations including the National Football League and Hollywood film and television studios.
