Tiger Woods Wins Masters
Monday, April 15, 2019
Tiger Woods captured his fifth Masters' title and his 15th major tournament on Sunday, snapping a championship drought of nearly 11 years.
Woods -- at 43 -- became the second-oldest winner of the Masters at Augusta National, after then 46-year-old Jack Nicklaus won in 1986.
The win transforms Woods' career that spiraled downward after personal issues and divorce consumed his life.
Woods finished -13 for the tournament and won by one stroke.
He now is poised to pursue his effort to surpass Nicklaus' 18 majors.
