Portland Indie Pop Musician, Logan Lynn, Releases New Tracks

Portland indie pop musician (and Dandy Warhols protégé) Logan Lynn is releasing two songs from his upcoming new record on Tuesday, September 9.  The full album is slated for release in 2015.

The release of Lynn's two-song "We Will Overcome" single comes in advance of the Stargayzer Music Festival in Austin, Texas on September 14.

Lynn and his band stray from their signature electronic sound for the new record, and instead pull on influences that range from Ziggy Stardust-era Bowie to Fun and Elliott Smith, according to Lynn.

He debuted this new sound last year when he released a critically-acclaimed cover of Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop."  Since the release of “We Can’t Stop” Logan Lynn’s YouTube channel has passed 3 million views.

Produced by Lynn's longtime collaborator Gino Mari, the new single is Logan Lynn’s first original work since 2012’s full-length “Tramp Stamps and Birthmarks."  A music video for "We Will Overcome" is also in the works for a September release.
