Portland Chefs Cook for a Cause
Thursday, October 29, 2015
The chefs will serve up their signatures dishes to 350 guests tomorrow at the March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction. Guests will also have the chance to bid on an array of unique auction items, including a culinary tour of Portland’s top restaurants in a Mercedes Maybach from M Experiences, a night at the Hotel Vintage with dinner at Pazzo and in-room spa treatment, a romantic dinner and stay at the Heathman along with a helicopter tour, and more.
Some of Portland’s most well-known chefs will be on hand at the event, including Warren Akana of Porto Terra, Aaron Bedard of Stephanie Inn, Marissa Burback of HopCity Tavern, Zach Capoccia of Clarklewis, Tim Eckard of Heathman Restaurant, Gabe Gabreski of a Cena Ristorante, Kenny Giambalvo of Pazzo Ristorante, Frank (Bud) Turner of Portland Prime and VIP Reception Featured Chef Thomas Dunklin of Three Degrees.
Each year, one in ten babies is born premature in the United States and premature birth is the number one killer of babies in the country. For more than 75 years, March of Dimes “has fought for the little ones who can’t fight for themselves.”
