Which town in Oregon gets the most drunk? A new study evaluated numbers like the percentage of adults that are binge drinker and the percent that die in alcohol related deaths. For a state that crows about its wine, craft beer and emerging whiskey industry, the downside is alcohol abuse.
The data crunched by Wall Street 24/7 finds the the Portland DMA is the drunkest.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested 80 impaired drivers in the month of November alone. Of those, 15 were arrested during the Thanksgiving weekend reporting period. Seven of these were drug related.
The Office claim to adhere to a strict no-tolerance approach to impaired drivers that continue to threaten the public's safety. The Sheriff's Office arrests about 1,000 impaired drivers each year.
