Red Cross, Portland Fire and Rescue Respond to House Fire

Firefighters with portland Fire and rescue were dispatched to a fire in the 2000 block of NE Crane Streetat 1:52 AM. Rescuers arrived to flames coming from the back and front of the residence.
After verifying that all occupants were out of the home, firefighters began fighting the fire from outside. After extinguishing the majority of the blaze, they entered the home and finished putting out the fire.
No injuries were reported to the one adult, three children and two perts that were in the home at the time of the fire. The American Red Cross responded to the scene to provide temporary lodging, assistance for immediate basic needs, disaster mental health and recovery information.
