Portland Threads: Fashionistas at Portland Fashion Week

Saturday, October 04, 2014

Portland Threads

This week Portland creatives and fashionistas came out to the TENTS on Pioneer Courthouse Square to celebrate Northwest designers and, of course, see amazing garments walk down the runway.

Floppy black hats, long winter coats, black creepers, and delicate white blouses were worn by Northwest creatives, boutique owners, and fashion students at this season's PFW shows. The shows, which began on Tuesday and ended on Thursday, brought America's Next Top Model Winner Naima Mora and stylist Robert Verdi, as well as talented local musicians such as indie pop band Foreign Talks to the runway.

Designers who showed their garments on the runway included menswear designer Wookie Fields, local children's designer Erin Keys of Sister Fresh, and Art Institute alum Hannah Pare.

Click through the slides below to see the unique style of Portland Fashion Week attendees and get inspired by the fashion seen on these cool fashionistas.
