Portland Police Arrest Public Masturbator

Monday, November 16, 2015

Portland Police arrested a 22-year-old man for exposing himself to multiple women in Southeast Portland.

William Wimberly Jr. was booked into the Multnomah County Inverness Jail on charges of public indecency, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and an unrelated burglary charge.

On November 6 a female employee at  a business at Southeast 17th Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard reported that Wimberly asked her for assistance. When she turned to face him, he was holding his penis and masturbating.

A similar report was filed in early October by a female employee at a business at Southeast 47th Avenue and Belmont street. Detectives said they also suspect that Wimberly may be responsible for other acts of public indecency.

Anyone with information about Wimberly or any other incidents is asked to contact Detective Cory Stenzel with the Portland Police Bureau at (503) 823-0453 or by email at [email protected]
