State Police Search for Silver Coin Thieves

Oregon State Police (OSP) Criminal Investigations Division detectives are continuing an ongoing investigation into the theft of a large amount of silver coins. 

According to OSP Detective Annie Harris, police have identified two persons of interest: 

Person of Interest #1: 

James David Lee Hergett 

Approx. 26 years old 

Height: 5-10, Weight: 210 

Hair: Auburn, Eyes: Green 

 

Person of Interest #2: 

Todd Murray Beveridge 

Approx. 56 years old 

Height: 5-07, Weight 145 

Hair: Brown, Eyes: Blue 

 

The Incident 

On or about August 13, 2016, a large amount of silver coins were stolen from a residence in Grants Pass. These coins are 2015 Royal Canadian Mint, 1/2 oz. Silver Eagles. 

Also stolen were silver mercury dimes and silver Kennedy half dollars.
