Northeast Portland Jack in the Box Robbed at Gunpoint

A Jack in the Box restaurant located at the intersection of Northeast Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and Columbia Boulevard in Northeast Portland was robbed at roughly 9 AM on Sunday, according to police.
North Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery and spoke with employees. The employees told police that the suspect entered the restaurant armed with a hand handgun and demanded money He received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the restaurant.
Police searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspect’s description. He is described as an African-American male, roughly 40 years old, wearing black clothing.
