Renata

Although Renata’s “official” opening isn’t until June 1 and the “soft” opening isn’t until Tuesday, May 12th, the powers-that-be behind this much buzzed about Italian eatery (that was originally supposed to open last year) couldn’t help but throw a little preview party on Saturday night for friends and family and a few professionals who helped them change the face of an inner Southeast street. In fact the party event made time for a birthday celebration for one of its owners, Sandra Arnerich.

Owners Nick and Sandra Arnerrich, formerly of French Laundry, made sure the event was a very special night for all those who attended. And what a night it was.

Celebrants lined the bar not far from the private dining room—it seats up to 14 and is available for cocktail parties— the market named "Mi Piace” and the Ancient Heritage dairy next door. They also lined the gorgeous outdoor patio lined with blossoming fruit trees. Food was courtesy chef Matthew Sigler and drinks were being doled by Daniel Shoemaker, Sean Hoard and John Lilley.
