Mardi Gras in Portland

Get your Fat Tuesday on! Celebrate Mardi Gras right here in Portland this week!
Mardi Gras is the celebration before the Christian holiday Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent. Bars and restaurants across the Rose City will be getting out the beads and drinks to celebrate.
The Portland Mardi Gras Parade will kick off at 6 PM at Victoria bar, located at 4835 North Albina Avenue. The parade will head south from Victoria Bar, heading south to en after a nine block parade at Ecliptic Brewing, located at 825 North Cook.
Following the parade, multiple venues on Mississippi Avenue will host Mardi Gras music.
East Burn, located at 1800 East Burnside Street in Portland will hold a special New Orleans themed dinner and party. The night will be complete with New Orleans-style Gumbo, food and beer specials, and plenty of music and fun.
Acadia Bistro, located at 1303 NE Fremont Street will also host a Mardi Gras celebration, complete with a special New Orleans menu. Featured dishes include: Crawfish Deviled Egg, Crab Cakes, Pork Cheeks and more.
